Pastor Daren L. Barron is the Founder of World Conquerors Church in Oakland California. For two plus decades Pastor Daren has devoted himself to building a ministry in the Hills of Oakland to Build people (through success and failures), Impact the community (through relevant ministries), and Reach the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (through missions travel and broadcast media). One of the mantras of WCC is, Discover Who you were born to be, which underscores the passion of Pastor Daren toward all people. Pastor Daren’s pulpit is not only in the building of the church but wherever he goes; he loves people and endeavors to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Love and clarity.
One of Pastor Daren's greatest joys is his family. Pastor Daren is married to his beautiful wife Monnique D. Barron of over 35 years; they have five adult children: Drew, Maiyanna, Monet, Mariah, and Daren II (DJ). Joining the family: Angelica (Drew), Yvan Randel (Mariah), and 5 grandchildren: Maliyah, Mahari, Ydan, August, and Micah.
Monnique Barron is the wife of Daren L. Barron, Pastor and Founder of World Conquerors Church, in Oakland California. For over two decades Monnique has faithfully and successfully aided her husband in building WCC. Dedicated to the vision of the ministry, Monnique assist her husband with a variety of duties to assure his God-given mandate is carried out. Every step of the way she has provided leadership in building people, impacting the community and reaching the world with the gospel of Christ.
As an anointed and passionate speaker, Monnique is the the founder of Women Walking in the Word: Daughters of Destiny and Kingdom Daughters. She is passionate about women growing into the best version of themselves; that women understand, embrace, and enhance who they are through the Word of God. Monnique shares her life and uses it to be an example of seeking total freedom in Christ. Her love for her church and family is clear and present as she is celebrated by both.
Daren and Monnique have been together for over 35 years. Monnique earned her BA in Psychology from Spelman College (Atlanta GA), then went on to become a Home Engineer, where she, along with her beautiful husband, raised 5 children whom she is proud of: Drew, Maiyanna, Monet, Mariah, and Daren II (DJ). Joining the family: Angelica (Drew), Yvan Randel (Mariah), and 5 absolutely beautiful grands, Maliyah, Mahari, Ydan, August, and Micah, whom she truly adores.
